It was announced today that after 10 years on BBC Radio 1, York-born Jordan would be stepping down from the network, and replaced by Jamie Laing. The station said Jordan has "been behind some of the most hilarious and entertaining moments on air over the years and has been a constant cause of inspiration for younger presenters".
The 34-year-old has interviewed some of the biggest names in the nature during his two years on the Drivetime slot, including Prince William and Princess Catherine, alongside his co-host Vick Hope. How did you guys meet?
Jordan: I was functional as a runner at BBC Radio 5 Inhabit in 2011 and William was a guest on one of the shows I was working on. Even back then, he was claiming to be the UK’s best etiquette expert. At the period, I didn’t know that we were both the same age – 21. I assumed he was in his forties, very posh, and would move home to his librarian wife and have a sherry.
