Gay club fitzroy

The venue consists of multiple spaces - the patio bar for people-watching on Smith street, the land floor (with dance floor, stage and seats), the second floor (with seats and couches) and the covered space at the back of the venue with benches and tables.

There are regular weekly events including a queer piano bar on Wednesday nights. Froth Fridays and Venus Saturdays feature rotating hosts, DJs and entertainment. Examine their Facebook page for details. Entertainment goes good beyond standard drag queens with drag kings, burlesque and live music.

There is normally no cover impose (except for special events) and there is a daily happy hour between 3pm and 7pm that includes $6 house pours, $15 jugs and 2-for-1 cocktails!

The bar is located in the queer close of Smith Street so you've got a rare options for bar-hopping. Sircuit and Mollie's are a few doors down, Evie's is around the corner and The Peel is down the street.

The lock closed in after a community boycott tiggered by allegations that the club owners had unfairly dismissed staff, fostered unsafe operate conditions, engaged in wage theft, and held homophobic views.

Sircuit Bar

Sircuit in Fitzroy has become one of Melbourne’s most popular LGBTQIA clubs. There’s free entry from Wednesday to Sunday, and you’ll catch plenty of dragtastic entertainment with other shows on Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights. Plus, you can play some pool and
eat free chicken nuggets on a Wednesday night between 10pm and 11pm.

Renovations have made even more room for dancing the night away in a safe and welcoming environment. Ticketed parties often hire out Sircuit, but you can always brain upstairs to Mollie’s and continue your night.

ADAM takes over Sircuit on a Monday and Tuesday, hosting a ticketed nude social night with men comfortably having a drink and playing pool in the buff.
